I was very fortunate today, to meet Luxury Home Builder Darren Tuma from Merit Homes. Merit Homes was established by brothers Antony and Darren Tuma in 1995 and today have become leaders in luxury homes designs and construction.
Merit Homes today:
- Our construction prices range from $1m to $4m+
- We build all over the Sydney area
- Our homes range from single storey dwellings on acreage, to a multiple townhouse complex.
I was invited to visit their display home at Home World Kellyville, from an old colleague that I have known and worked with for many years, Viloun Keomoung.
Viloun is now Sales and Marketing Manager for Merit Homes, so a discussion about internet marketing was going to happen. I did some research on Merit Homes website before the meeting and I was pretty pleased with what I saw. The homes are beautiful and they are presented well on the website. The website is informative and has all the right information for anyone looking at building a new home, so not a lot of changes need to happen for what I can see.
After speaking with Darren and Viloun, I realized the problem. The specific problem is the audience. Merit homes, build amazing, luxury homes. When I walked inside, I immediately thought to myself, “I can’t bring my wife up here, she is going to want one, and this is way out of my league.”
These are luxury, purpose built homes that deserve to be on large blocks of land or acreage to show off everything that the home has to offer. Merit homes is a luxury home builder.
I started paying more attention to their website and came across “The Billy“.
This beautiful home was designed by our client’s architects, through competitive tendering Merit homes were granted the pleasure to build this house. The home presents a classical feel with its grand curved staircase, ornate ceilings, and columns.
I had to read that again. They can even take your architects drawings and build your dream home. They are not stuck in a mold or restricted by the current plans.
This is their point of difference. So how do you get that across to the market and reach their specific audience?
We look forward to the challenge.
